Eddy Merckx EMX frames are built around a monocoque main triangle to ensure stability in an ideal mix of stiffness and comfort with maximum power transfer from the rider.
Merckx scoured the globe to find the most appropriate source of materials, settling on high-quality carbon fibre from the renowned Japanese textile producer Toray. The carbon is then subjected to the most stringent production methods and undergoes the toughest tests possible. As you'd expect from the greatest Belgian of all time the EMX frames are built to the highest production standards, and the factory is able to construct in large enough quantities by limiting production to a reletively small range of different models.
